There are many safety requirements of newborn photography, and when using our Natural Basket it is firstly a good idea to use a weight in the basket. This ensures that a newborn remains safe throughout their session and won't kick or fall out of the basket. A weight can easily be hidden underneath blankets and layers, and gives you and your clients reassurance that their newborn is safe. The baskets are sturdy enough to support a newborn, but soft enough that they won't be uncomfortable for a baby and don't have any sharp edges.

Many newborn photographers choose to wrap up a baby before placing in the basket. This way, they'll stay secured and safe, so that you have a much greater chance of capturing those adorable sleepy poses you see so much! Simply fill the basket firstly with blankets, layers, fur or wool then place your newborn on top for a gorgeous shot!
